Cafe Pueblo at Hotel Veronica

The moment we arrived at Roxas City, Sir Dino from the Tourism Office of the Province of Capiz brought us to Hotel Veronica's Cafe Pueblo for lunch. We were in the city's newest and soon-to-be the most exciting mixed-use, master-planned township and commercial development complex- Pueblo de Panay. Beside the hotel is El Circulo Convention Center and the on-goin construction of Roxas City's Robinson's Place mall.

Now it was time for me and for the rest of my fellow bloggers to enjoy the chic Pueblo cafe air conditioned room for our first meal together in this Experience Capiz Tour.

As the food got served, everyone agreed that we were indeed in the Seafood capital of the Philippines. It was such an amazing experience for me in getting to know Claire and Kara. I went to Roxas City with Regine, we were the only ones from Iloilo in this trip. I've known sir Estan since the Visayas Blogging Summit in Iloilo CIty that we the Iloilo Bloggers hosted in 2010.
Before we ate, everybody got busy taking pictures of these delicious-looking dishes that we were about to enjoy.
Everybody loved the seafood dishes and we were all delighted to answer when asked which kind of cheesecake we wanted for dessert. Almond or Blueberry.
I of course wanted to try the almond topping for the cheesecake since the blueberry is very much common in cakehouses around Iloilo. The presentation looks really good but I just wish that they can improve both of the cheesecakes' taste - with less cream.
Hotel Veronica is a must-visit place to enjoy when in Roxas City, aside from the cafe, another restaurant can also be found within the complex. Staying there and enjoying the night around can also be worthwhile. When the mall is completed, for sure more dining and other commercial establishments will be around this place.
It is truly "luxury away from home."
Hotel Veronica is located at Pueblo de Panay, Lawaan, Roxas City, Capiz
