Christmas in ILOILO: The Philippines' City of Love

It's indeed the most wonderful time of the year! Iloilo City, now considered as one of the top destinations in the country can just be more exciting. Here's what the City of Love can offer to tourists and the Ilonggos to enjoy this holiday season:
1. The Provincial Capitol, Atrium Mall & Days Hotel Iloilo
WE LOVE FOOD! It's a fact. So our food destination can just be at The Promenade of Days Hotel Iloilo.
It's the grandest buffet in Iloilo and this Christmas eve, it'll just be more than grand!
 Banana Cream Pie from Tinapayan:
With Graham base, custard w/ fresh banana filling and whipping cream topping.
French Macarons:
Strawberry, Pistacio, Hazelnut, Salted Caramel, Mint with Truffle filling, chocolate passionfruit, chocolate made of coverture chocolate.
Part of Misa de Gallo Breakfast Buffet at Days Hotel Iloilo:

2. Calle Real
Every Saturday from 5PM to Sunday midnight, the pedestrianization of Calle Real takes place. A portion of J.M. Basa street from Socorro Drugstore down to the Regent Theater is closed to vehicles and everyone can just walk around shop. Starting today December 21, Coffee shops, bakeries and other food products will be available for everyone.
3. Molo District
Don't miss the beautiful Plaza of Molo district. It's presently one of the most beautiful around the city as it was just restored this year. The nearby GT Plaza Mall houses several restaurants like Moonleaf, Binalot, Ted's La Paz Batchoy, Pan de Manila and the Heavenly Cafe. I love their cheesecakes! Try also their Tea Latte, Green Tea frappe and their Tuna Pasta!

4. Mandurriao District
Aside from Smallville Complex (Riverside Boardwalk, The Avenue) and Megaworld, SM City and Plazuela de Iloilo are some of the great destinations in this district. Of course, the Iloilo River Esplanade is still everyone's favorite. At the Tabucan side where One Esplanade is located, Coffeebreak and Quix Mart just opened their newest branches!
