Avana Filipino Bistro

One of the newest restaurants that opened recently is Avana Filipino Bistro. It is located within the growing commercial complex with Cholabite Milk Tea at the Tabucan side of the Iloilo River Esplande. It is now open for lunch and dinner. This standalone restaurant has a wide space inside that can accommodate private parties and special functions. It also has a smaller room that can be turned into a more private venue or the dinning area for other guests when the main hall is exclusively reserved for events.

Blackbeard's Seafood Island Northshore Grill

If you and your family or group of friends are into the mood of having a more intimate & closer bonding time while having lunch or dinner, just go to the newly-opened Blackbeard's Seafood Island Northshore Grill at Amigo Mall, Iznart st., Iloilo City. They offer numerous bountiful selections of boodle-fight style or ala-carte dining experience.
Iloilo City Mayor Hon. Jed Patrick E. Mabilog leads the formal opening of this new investment in the city. It has already put up several branches around the country and according to their management, they are very excited to be here in the City of Love. Known to be esteemed food lovers, Ilonggos already marched up to this place even in their soft opening. The first time I was actually here was on the evening of December 25 last year. My family decided to go around the city to see lights and other Christmas attractions but there were limited restaurants that were open because it was a holiday so we decided to eat there and surprisingly there were already a lot of people having dinner there as well.

For the bloggers' & media food tasting session, they offered Mt. Apo, Talite beach and the Dagupan feast. My favorite of course was the Mt. Apo because it has some squid, Tilapia fish, crabs and other Filipino specialties that were already a complete package like the other ones that they have.

The management also emphasized on sourcing out local products for their restaurant. It was a plus point for me. We all had a great time at Blackbeard's Seafood Island Northshore Grill. Go try it for yourself and your family and friends too! Their contact numbers are 3353392 & 09158136678.
